Charlotte is a dream, thank you so much for getting her for Ellie. Ellie feels really at home with Charlotte and I think because she is young, she's like an older sister who Ellie can really relate to.
Ellie has a small note book that she jots things down in that she doesn't understand during her maths lesson at school, or things that she thinks she may need to go over again and then she shows it to Charlotte on a Thursday evening (purely Ellie's idea!) that shows how comfortable she is with Charlotte.
Charlotte is genuinely a lovely girl who really takes the time to explain things in a way that Ellie can really understand. Ellie's confidence, as a consequence has soared and she said to me the other day that finally maths are starting to make sense; which was music to my ears as a mum!
Ellie has an end of year maths test this Friday and Charlotte is going to go over some old test papers with her tomorrow in preparation.

Hi Christine I just wanted to say big thank you to tutor doctor and would like to say how amazing Maria was. She supported me in my essay writing as I am dyslexic and needed to push my university marks up. Having had a VERY bad experience with a previous tutoring company and after wasting 3 weeks of precious time the other local company decided to tell me wrongly that my son had ADHD. I feel this was because they could not help him progress as they should.
Tutor doctor was my 2nd approach of tutoring for my 5 year old creative son. So I was very anxious at what the consultation results would be. I instantly got warm feeling when Christine made a visit to my home and my son also took to her straight away.
I loved the way Christine explained to me how she was going to help my son as he had fallen behind in maths and English. I also am very excited to see what methods of teaching that will be used as my son loves to involve creativity in order for him to learn. I felt confident in my son catching up with his class and pleased to hear that he doesn't have ADHD but a creative way of learning.
I am most definitely looking forward to the outcome/results and hope to be posting a "success" story.

My son started university life in Manchester and called one evening with concerns over computer programming. Living over 150 miles away made for local support difficult. I contacted Tutor Doctor late one evening and spoke to Andrew, who set about helping my son immediately.

We used Tutor Doctor recently as we wanted a tutor to help our son sit entrance exams for independent schools. We have been really impressed with the professionalism shown by Christine from Tutor Doctor and her ability to assess Leon and match him perfectly with a tutor.
Tutor Doctor took the time to meet us at home and listened carefully to our requirements. They carried out a thorough assessment of Leon in order to gain an insight into his needs. Tutor Doctor matched Leon perfectly with an excellent tutor. Anu was patient and skilful and Leon really looked forward to her visits.

After calling Tutor Doctor, Christine and Andrew had made an appointment to visit within 2 days and after speaking to my daughter homed in very quickly exactly what she would need. We had 2 and half weeks until her History A level!!
By the end of the week we had our new Tutor Alfie who straightened my entire daughters History file out and organised into sections now organised, my daughter’s confidence was growing. 12 long hours of History later and she was ready.
First words to come out of her mouth after leaving the exam? Thank God for Alfie at Tutor Doctor!!..Need I say more?
