Message of the week

Competiton winner announced!


Throughout the summer Tutor Doctor ran a competition giving away FREE tutoring. It was so successful we will be repeating the competition later in the year.

The winner was announced in August 2011 and tutoring began in earnest

Sally Williams of Stretford and her son Josh!


Josh Williams, 10, of Stretford, was presented with a voucher for 12 free sessions of tutoring by Christine Fowler, Director of Tutor Doctor Cheshire, after entering and winning a competition at Barton Clough Primary School’s Summer Fair in July.



Josh was extremely pleased to have won the competition and is looking forward to getting started with his new tutor. Sally, Josh’s mum, when asked what she thought, said, “Josh always tries his hardest but since being diagnosed with dyslexia it’s been a struggle for him. He’s always on hand to help others so I’m really pleased he’s won. He deserves it.”

Christine Fowler added, “Tutor Doctor is looking forward to working with Josh. He will receive expert one-to-one tuition in his home and our aim is to make sure he feels confident when he goes back to school into Year 6.
